Methods & Equipment

Methods

Analytical methods rely on scrupulous attention to cleanliness, sample preparation, accuracy, and precision. Metals glassware are soaked in a dilute acid bath and rinsed with de-ionized water and kept for the specific analysis of metals. Samples are run in duplicate and matrix spikes to assure correct measurements and potential interferences, and equipment is washed in particularly pure solvents.
